After I told my family about this dream this morning, my sister became very excited about the movie that I dreamt and asked me to write it for her. Therefore, since I'm sort of bored, I'll write some of it for her here!
------------------------------------------
Ted was a young man, the sort that no one would have looked at while passing on the street, unless, of course, they were a casting director looking for a guy that looked really ordinary to put in one of their movies. He had brown hair that didn't look like it had been combed for at least a month, brown eyes that had the sort of deadness caused by sitting in college lectures for too long, and a mouth that hung open slightly, as if he was always preparing to say something. There were times when he wished that his appearance stood out more, like when he was at parties and girls would be so ignorant of his existence that they'd actually knock him over for lack of noticing that he was in their path, or when he'd worked as a salesman at Sears over a Christmas break in high school and customers would ask each other if they'd heard anything when he asked them if they were finding everything well. Most of the time, however, Ted managed to look past this shortcoming of his, as he had a power that no one else did.
There were, of course, times when Ted questioned the validity of his power. Compared to the arsenals of powers that characters in comic books had, he felt a little cheated. In the X-Men alone, there were people that could read minds, control the weather, and shoot laser beams out of their eyes, and the despondency caused by those comic books was nothing compared to what he felt when reading about Superman, who could fly, see through walls, and had super strength, among many other powers. Even the joke superheroes, like the Tick, seemed much stronger than he'd ever be. Still, no matter how badly Ted felt about his powers in comparison to those of his fictional childhood heroes, he knew in his heart that the world always had room for a young man with the power to jump really ridicuously, even pointlessly, high.

Well, that's all that I feel like doing for tonight, but it's a decent intro, right? I might continue it later if I feel like it, I guess. Anyway, I'll talk to you guys later! o^^.o
